The Gladman application for Salt Way has currently gone quiet. There have been no recent updates since December.
We suspect that this may be due to a new road proposal that will connect Overthorpe in Banbury to Bodicote via Cherwell Heights, contained in the Banbury Vision and Masterplan which can be found here.
Gladman, a ‘no-win no-fee’ developer, is proposing a new residential development of approximately 280 homes on land off White Post Road, Banbury.
Bodicote has already had its allocation of homes – under the Local Plan, we shouldn’t be having any more.
Bodicote at Risk is not against new homes, we’re against profit led development that threatens to engulf a beautiful, historic village.
